GOALS Youth River Expeditions is a Colorado nonprofit on a mission to transform the future for kids & wild places.
Now in our 15th year of programming, GOALS uses research-backed principles of positive youth development to design powerful multi-day river rafting expeditions that give kids the tools they need to thrive - now and in the future. Even better - we have tons of fun making the magic happen!
As we prepare to kick off our 2024 expedition season, there are just a few spots remaining - and we’re looking for curious, bold, kind and resilient kids to fill them. We’ve reached out to our community of teacher leaders and families of kids we’ve served in years past asking for recommendations - and they recommended you as someone who:
loves outdoor adventures!
seeks opportunities to grow personally & to create new friendships.
prioritizes their own mental health & focus on ways they can improve other people’s lives as well.
wants to explore, learn about, and protect the wild places that remain.
If you ALSO believe that you’re a GOALS kid - and are interested in grabbing one of those last remaining permit spots for 2024, we hope you will join us for one of 2 final info sessions leading into our 2024 domestic program season!

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT A GOALS EXPEDITION?
we serve kids from 4th - 12th grade.
our 5-8 day rafting expeditions explore some of the most scenic rivers in the world – see where we go.
12-18 of your sAME-AGE peers + 2-4 experienced GOALS Trip Leaders + 3-5 professional river guides = 1 unforgettable experience.
Days spent building your confidence on the river, afternoons spent playing & cooking dinner on the beach, evenings spent laughing and sharing around the campfire, nights spent sleeping under the stars. wake up & repeat.
No phones or watches are allowed. You’ll love the break from technology, we promise.
A trip fee is associated with our expeditions - need-based financial assistance is readily available.
